Who doesn’t love guacamole? You are in for a treat with this recipe for the World’s Best Guacamole! In my opinion, it’s one of the best ways to showcase the mighty avocado.
I love avocados. They are such a versatile food that has so many health benefits. They are a great addition to smoothies to add some monounsaturated fat to increase satiety and fiber, they make a quick and satisfying breakfast sliced and served with eggs, tomatoes and some fresh greens, and then there is the ever-popular and delicious guacamole. When I traveled to Mexico last year, I ate guacamole at nearly every meal. It adds so much creamy and bright flavor to just about anything.
This guacamole is awesome, and I’m not just saying this myself. Every time I take this somewhere, I get asked to bring it again. Even friends who are not fans of cilantro dig in. It’s one of my signature foods, yet it is truly so simple to make.
My secret is going to be out. The way to make the best tasting guac is to give some love and care to the chopping process. By chopping the onion and garlic finely and taking the time to remove the seeds and juice from the tomatoes, every bite has just the right amount of all of the components.
Try it and and let me know what you think.
As a side note – some people like a little ‘kick’ to their guac. If you are one of them, feel free to add a pinch or two of cayenne pepper to this mix.

- 2 limes
- 8-10 grape or cherry tomatoes
- ½ small red onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced.
